I joined my family from IN at Wild Horse West recently because it is a highlight of their trip to visit me. They talk about the burgers with love! The chili was exceptional even though I love beans in my chili. The staff is kind and efficient and the prices can't be beat.

Wild horse west has the best burgers in the west for sure!!! Plus they have a great selection of beers!! All of the workers are very friendly and outgoing. If you haven't stopped by wild horse west, you're missing out!! Make the stop and grab a burger!

The cheeseburgers here are the best! We added a green chile to ours- yum! 😋 You've got to get a burgere here. We also had a bowl of chili with cheese and onions, which was delicious and quickly devoured.

There are places you go to eat… and then there are places that become part of who you are. This cheeseburger spot is the second kind for me. The craziest part? For years, I couldn't even remember the name of it. But I could picture it perfectly the taxidermy on the walls, the pool tables, the little shop area where my grandparents would allow me to get mini m&ms. I could still see it in my mind like I had just been there yesterday, and I always had this feeling I could somehow find my way back. And when I finally figured out the name again, my heart was racing. I was literally crying happy, overwhelming tears because after all these years, I found it. I'm so glad I was able to just type everything I remembered into the search bar and have it actually come up. For so long it felt like this place only existed in my memories, and suddenly it was real again. I haven't been there in years not since my grandma passed in 2013, and since my Uncle Jerry passed too. But somehow, I still think about it all the time. It lives in my memories in a way no other place ever has. I can still remember running around with my cousin and my sister, laughing, being kids with no worries. And then sitting down with a cheeseburger and a bag of chips that, to this day, I swear were the best I've ever had in my life. It wasn't just the food. It was who I was with. The workers and everyone around. My grandma taking us there, making it feel special every single time. Those moments felt simple back then but now I realize they were everything. I'm about to turn 25, and it hits me how much those memories have stayed with me. This place isn't just somewhere I used to eat it's tied to some of the happiest, most meaningful parts of my childhood. Now, more than anything, I want to go back and this time, take my husband and my son and daughter with me. I want them to see it, feel it, and hopefully understand why it means so much to me. I haven't been back yet, but I know when I do, it'll be more than just a meal. It'll be a way to feel close to them again. If you've ever loved a place like that you understand. ❤️

Every Thursday (October to April, as we're all Snowbirds) for over ten years now, a group of four to eight come in for lunch. The most popular is the cheeseburger and occasionally a Swissburger. Amongst us guys there is a 100% consensus that the hamburger meat is the very best available anywhere! Zero gristle, juicy (not greasy) and cooked to our individual (rare to med-well) specifications. Alex and his crew provide excellent, friendly service and the 'old west' decor seems so appropriate. Oh, and very reasonably priced.
